Mon Apr 21, 2008, 6:15 AM
Hey everyone! Just five days left to the Pittsburgh Comic Con. Everyone at Bad Place is excited and I can't wait. We'll be at table S073, right beside Jay Fife. Stop by and hang out a bit.

Also, there's now preview pages up on our website for all of our titles. Check 'em out at Bad Place Productions and maybe order a book or two!

The guys at Comic Book Noise have reviewed The Serial Squad! on their Indie Comic Book Noise podcast for April 9, 2008. Thanks to everyone at CBN for putting together intelligent, informative shows!

Here's hoping to see a lot of you next weekend!

Wow

  • Listening to: Lots of Christmas songs
  • Reading: Spider Woman's Web by Susan Hazen-Hammond
  • Drinking: Very Strong Coffee
Well, look at that. 1,000 pageviews already? I'm stunned! I suppose I should post some art, but since I'm not really an artist I'll have to find some other way to celebrate. So I'll give everyone a little hint of the story for "City of Iron". This is the story that ~coffinberry is doing the artwork for, so drop by her page and check out her great design for the main character. And with no further delay, here's the teaser.

Anthropologists say that our species evolved to meet the challenges of the last Ice Age. What then must it have been like for mankind when that Age came to an abrupt end 11,500 years ago? Our story follows the three main characters on a journey across North America, in the wake of the greatest ecological disaster people have ever known, in search of a refuge that many claim is only a myth, the City of Iron.

Sound interesting? Want to know a bit more? Let me know. I can probably be persuaded to let a few more details go. Thanks everyone for stopping by! I'll catch you later!
